Watermelon July 10, 2010

Lene had her first taste of real food today – we put a few drops of watermelon juice on her tongue and wow, do I wish we’d taken a video of that.  I also put a tiny sliver of it in her mouth… not enough for her to swallow, but enough for her to get more taste than the juice.  She kept waiting for more.

Fun night – the Germans won their game and came in 3rd in the World Cup.  This meant vuvuzelas, car horns, and fireworks, but it’s too hot to close the door to the noise.
